IJSER : fake journal



It is highly fake Indian Journal. Its website is www.ijser.org

International Journal of Scientific & Engineering Research (ISSN 2229-5518)

Reason 1:

Fake impact factor of ijser : It is mentioning impact factor as 1.4 without any logic. This is not approved by any authority, also publisher itself not clarify that how much paper is referred of this Journal.

Reason 2: 

Indexing are fake.This journal is not include in the database which are sowing in the ijser website like ebsco, scirus etc.


Reason 3: 

Many published paper in this journal is copied from different links.

    Yes i have proof.. Please check whether this Journal IJSER is available in EBSCO HOST (listed in the indexing page of IJSER) or not. You will find that IJSER is not present there..... so on...

    It means IJSER writes false information to polarize more authors and earn money.....

    You are saying that GLOBAL INSTITUTE FOR SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION (GISI)is world's leading website. But please ask them who certified that cite.

    You also can make your own website and say your impact factor is 10,20....whatever you want but it cannot correct.

    Only 4-10 articles (among 500 or more articles) citation cannot produce 1.4 impact factor.

    I can give you 400 and more no. of articles of IJSER which have no any citation....

    So IJSER is doing this unethical work (showing fake impact factor and various information which is not related to IJSER) for attracting the researcher. But this way is not correct. Every Journal should show its original impact factor.

    You are ok that many springer Journals have not any impact factor but they don't write fake impact factor on their website.

    It is not wrong work that if any journal has not impact factor and it does not mention impact factor on the website.

    But it is completely wrong that any journal (like IJSER..) has not impact factor and mentions fake impact factor (1.4) on its website...

    So if any Journal is telling lie in impact factor, indexing and many published papers in IJSER is copied from different Journals, it is fake journal.....

      Please check the IJSER indexing listed on following link:
      http://www.ijser.org/indexing.aspx

      After that check whether IJSER is indexed in given indexing or not. You can easily find that many IJSER indexing are fake....

      So IJSER is misguiding the author by IJSER fake impact factor, IJSER fake Indexing and other plagiarized articles...

    Impact Factor published over the website could be fake, but indexing is not fake.One can check the listing of editors who are involved with this journal for example click on the link given and you will find that highly qualified people are involved in the reviewing committee. check this link http://m80.knu.ac.kr/~doors, do search for this person over linkedin and google.

      There is no role of editor in IJSER Journal. Only one person is running the Journal with his friends. you can also submit any profile by writing you are Phd, they will sure include it in their website without any verification....

    I published one paper of M.tech thesis in IJSER(International Journal of Scientific & Engineering Research (ISSN 2229-5518). But my university has not singed on that paper. University is saying that IJSER is bogus Journal. IJSER has mentioned many fake information on website like IJSER impact factor and IJSER indexing fake information. So i requested to IJSER for removing my paper. But they did not remove that paper and I lost one year due to fake IJSER Journal. So I suggested to my colleague not to submit their valuable work in such fake Jorunal like IJSER fake Journal....

      Dear friend,

      Come to the reality of indian research and its quality. In your case if you send your paper to any orthodox scientific journal, it may take many years to publish sometimes it may reject after a year. mean time your M tech will over and your status and your valuable study may have a value 0..... At least in IJSER you can publish your novel idea and work . Then your work is in registered status. so think in positive and hail such journals which published your work within few weeks . Also Now IJSER have DOI index .

    A search through a few recent issues of IJSER (www.ijser.org) quickly found more than a dozen papers that either consisted mostly
    of copy-and-paste or, in several cases, were verbatim copies of previous papers by different authors. So IJSER is really fraud and fake Journal. Authors are suggested to avoid fake IJSER Journal...

    Really it is a fake Journal. It take my fees but don't index my paper in given indexing listed on the website. I think impact factor of IJSER is also fake because there is no calculation by fake IJSER board for impact factor. Avoid IJSER fake Journal....

    I Agree, WWW.IJSER.ORG is a fake journal. I have strong proof against them showing that how they evaluate the paper and send their acceptance.

    I sent them a paper which i downloaded from some other journal. I randomly deleted many images and paragraphs from the paper and submitted them. Within next 48 hours i received Acceptance Mail from them (With no corrections required!).

    This shows that they don;t even read what is in there paper.

    They continued to send me Reminders for Final Submission, but i did not respond.

    Hello Sir, i sent my paper for ICRAPID 2014 (http://www.icrapid2014.com/index.php) and got selected for poster presentation. And after peer riview, yesterday I got the mail that my paper is accepted for publishing in IJSER. If 1.4 is not its IF, then what s it actually? The conference advicing committee has got presence of many reputed scientists from TIFR, IISc, Max Plank Institute, etc. And DST is one of the co-sponsors. Should they ignor the fakes that you mentioned? Or the website http://www.icrapid2014.com/index.php itself fakes? then what should i do?

    Dear readers IJSER is a very good & emerging international journal for publishing research papers. I agree that its a new journal released recently in 2010 but many sites are promising the impact factor in between 1-1.4 which is quite acceptable. Check the links given below:

    Also don't know what this blogger is getting for saying fake journal everywhere (blogspot, wordpress). Is he getting MONEY from some another journal for saying this journal fake? Also because there are many Indian editors for these international journal, so there might be some kind of rivals between them. God knows!

    Whatever is the impact factor of IJSER, but its not fake, its going through all the necessary process for getting paper accepted & published. And this journal is also quite useful for entry level researchers. Obviously hard core researchers would definitely go for some high standard publications (IEEE, Springer, ACM). There is no need for them going through such blogs.

      I have checked in UGC list. Most of IOSR Journals are under UGC. UGC is not fake. So i think IOSR Journals are best Journals. It is also indexed in Cross Ref (DOI). I verified that.

    Whatever!!!the main point, if our journal submitted will be useful and read by the others, then that's great. What makes it predatory when in fact our manuscript can be accessed!I have a trust and confidence in this journal. As a beginner researcher, i will still recommend IJSER, aside from the low registration fee, it is fast in giving feedbacks! I cannot still then say fake because as I search my research it is accessible. The purpose of the publisher serves!

    The most important tjing is that, we can help others to cite our research. Problem might be if we pay then our manuscript will not be searchable. For as long as other authors can view our manuscript then they something to refer...what is the relevance of publishing the material? Is it others need to pay to publisher before the other researcher can find an answer to his/her queries or to open access and read your entire study for free?It is up to the author whether to accept or site our findings...others might comment because it is not index for a known posted index journal but there is an index to justify the impact factor of IJSER...just visit all mentioned indeces before commenting, if ever you cannot find even 1 of the mentioned index then that is the time you will say its fake...

    The fake journal cannot post the published material. IJSER is accessible to the new authors, I am so proud that I choose IJSER as my publisher because my research can be viewed globally.!!!!The problem here is the competitor of IJSER! Though my professor doubt and agitated this journal. Still i am trying to defend that IJSER is authentic!!!

    What is just €45 then you can publish!Compare to other joirnals lots of requirements and lots of fees. It does not helpful for the researcher though. Indeed, it is a struggle.
